Martin Parr launches Real Food at E. Tautz
Parr's Boring Postcards inspired Patrick Grant's latest E. Tautz collection - last night he hosted the Magnum legend
We've had a number of launches this week with new books from Salma Hage and Erik Kessels which we'll be sharing with you later today. But while we wait for the photos from those we thought we'd share a few pics with you from last night's Martin Parr Real Food book launch at E. Tautz in Mayfair. E. Tautz is the high end fashion label headed by Patrick Grant, the owner of Norton & Sons and Community Clothing.
Grant has long been a fan of Martin Parr and even based the flat textures and de-saturated colours of his current collection on Parr's legendary Phaidon book, Boring Postcards.
Guests at the Real Food launch last night included Grey Fox style blogger David Evans, and writers and influencers from the Financial Times, Wallpaper*, i-D, World of Interiors and The Times.
Martin was on great form all night, chatting enthusiastically with all the guests who wanted a copy of Real Food signed or their photo taken with one of the true legends of the photography world.
If you want a copy of Real Food check it out in the store here. And if you'd like advance notice of our book launches sign up to phaidon.com at the bottom of this page.
Patrick Grant relaunched the "long-forgotten" brand E. Tautz in 2009 with a ready-to-wear collection. Grant's focus is on simple pieces, made by hand and manufactured in the UK. Thanks for hosting the launch Patrick!
