NYC’s influencers love Breakfast: The Cookbook
Editors, journalists and Instagrammers joined author Emily Elyse Miller and helped her book reach 1.5m viewers
They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and that was certainly so in New York last Thursday, when author Emily Elyse Miller joined a party of 30 journalists, editors and influencers, at the King restaurant in Manhattan to celebrate the publication of her new title, Breakfast: The Cookbook.
Correspondents from Vice Munchies, Bon Appetit, Refinery29, Time Out, Fathom, Forbes, and Goop attended the event, which was co-hosted by the coffee company Chameleon Cold Brew, as well as Instagram influencers such as the graphic designer Patrick Janelle (@AGuyNamedPatrick); the photographer Nicole Franzen (@nicole_franzen); and the food stylist Judy Kim (@judy.kim).
Miller mingled with guests over coffee, before they enjoyed a sit-down breakfast of dishes from the book.
Everyone also received a copy of the book, and they were clearly impressed; their posts have already reached a combined audience of 1.5 million viewers.
You can catch up with them online; Emily is at @emilyelysemiller. Look out for news of our West Coast launch for Breakfast: The Cookbook on 13 June at Squirl in LA
